| Found log: |  23-07-2015 (GLJC10V3)After our first climb from Malaucene three days ago, today we climb the Mont Ventoux from Bedoin, the most famous side. The first couple of kilometers are ok, it's climbing, but not that hard yet. Once you enter the first the real climbing starts and it seems like a story without any end. It was about 30 degrees and it's hot and humid and not a moment of rest. Once I saw Chalet Reynard and get out of the forest there was some nice breeze which cooled me down a bit. The worst part was over, 6 km left out in the open. It went well with a very steep last 500m, but hey! you are almost there then!! After some resting at the top it was finally time for this cache! It was quite busy and I had a nice chat with some people before I was able to grab this cache. Beautiful location, great view! I took some time to take pictures and admire the view. TFTC |
