| Found log: |  05-18-2012 (GL8881BW)This long weekend I was on a cycling holiday in Bernkastel-Kues. We had three very nice tours in the beautiful surroundings of the Mosel. In between I found some time for caching. This friday we followed the Maare-Mosel-Radweg up to Gillenfeld, from here to Lutzerath and then back to the Mosel. On our way to Lutzerath we passed this Earthcache. Unfortunately I'm the only cacher in the group, so I quickly took some pictures at the infobord and then chased back to the rest. I did not have time to take a nice picture or visit the actual Strohner Marchen. Thanks for showing the location and the interesting background. I never knew of the existance of these vulcanic lakes in this area. TFTC |
